Deutsche Telekom invests in the Celo platform
After Tesla who invests 7,7% of his cash in bitcoin (an investment equivalent in 1,5 B$), many companies are thinking about diversifying their cash in crypto-asset. Deutsche Telekom, is one of them.
The company has made a smart move by investing in the Celo payments platform powered by a blockchain. This global payments infrastructure built for mobile, can be used to transfer money from one smartphone to another one without the help of any financial institution and without having a crypto-wallet.

This investment by Deutsche Telekom, is made after the listing of Coinbase who invest also in the Celo platform through Coinbase Ventures (https://ventures.coinbase.com/). These moves ( Coinbase listed in the Nasdaq and Deutsche Telekom investing in the Celo platform) are important steps for blockchain and Decentralized Finance
Deutsche Telekom has also made investments in the Celo token. It'll help the Celo ecosystem to securize the transactions made by mobil phone all over the world.

Today the capitalization of Celo is around 1,2 B$ and it is ranked #82 in valuation within all the crypto asset (https://coinmarketcap.com/fr/currencies/celo/). Bitcoin and Ethereum are ranked #1 and #2 respectively.
